Trace a Cell Number – Why You're Not Getting Results Your Way – How to Find a Reliable Site

Trace A Cell Number - Don’t Do It This Way!

Once you realize what you’re doing wrong you’re going to kick yourself! If you’re like most people trying to do a cell number trace for the first time…you’re using the wrong web sites. Yep. Sorry to give you the bad news but you’re trying to use the big free directories. Am I right?

These big directory sites, like anywho.com and whitepages.com won’t help you with your cellular trace. I’d say go ahead and try it if you haven’t yet, but I don’t like saying “I told you so”. The real deal here is that cell phone numbers and reverse cell phone directories aren’t free.

Does that suck? Yes. Is there anything you can do about it? No. Why do you think we have to pay for this information? It’s big business. See, the cell phone companies say they want to keep our personal data from being free and accessible, BUT the real reason is they make money off of our cell phone information!

That’s the ugly truth. And there’s know one to stop them. They are private companies and they can do with their customer’s data what they please..

Avoiding Spam Sties – Trace A Cell Number

Other people might be running into the old spam site problem. There are quite a few web sites out there that are gunning for our credit card numbers, or trying to infect our computers with spyware, or perhaps trying to re-direct us to cheap Viagra offers! Nevertheless, there is a way to avoid sites like this.

You can avoid spam sites by remembering that it’s unfortunately never free to do a cell trace. If the site implies that it’s going to be free, then I would be wary. When a site promises something of value for nothing, it’s probably a spam site. Watch out.

Trace A Cell Number – Try Before You Buy Anything…

You’ve got to get one of the very few legitimate sites out there (a link below should help you…hint, hint). And once you’ve found what appears to be a trustworthy site you’ve got to run a test on it. How to run this test? It’s really quite simple, plug in a mobile number and see if it’s in the database.

Is the number in the database? Is there a full report available? Is the area correct? Was the search fast? Does the site look professional? Well, then you’ve found a good site. Plunk down your couple of bucks and buy the darn info.

Oh, and one last word of advice. They will ask you to sign up for a yearly membership. This is NOT a membership that includes unlimited cell number traces! That deal would be too good to be true. However, it is a good deal for doing people searches. I use mine a lot. Good luck with your cell number trace…
