Take Amazing Pictures With The New Dash Smartphone

T-Mobile Dash was a very popular phone when it was released. It quickly became a favorite among users. With its nice design and great list of features it was a very versatile phone. But it was far from perfect. T-Mobile hoped to satisfy its customers with fixing some of the problems with the new T-Mobile Dash 3G.

Firstly the Dash 3G is a very good looking phone. It was expertly designed. One of the best improvements over the first Dash is the soft finish which covers the back of the phone. The soft finish makes the phone appear to be more sophisticated and professional than other smartphones. The Dash 3G is a nice size and isnt too big or too small. It will fit nicely into ones pocket. A major drawback of the phone is its small screen. With a resolution of only 320×240 the Dash 3G clearly is lacking in this department. When viewing large websites or messages you will need to scroll to read/view the entire thing. Also due to the low resolution you may see some unsightly pixels here and there in photos and videos. Thankfully everything else featured on this phone works amazingly well. The trackball navigator is great and works very well. Another plus is the spacious and comfortable full QWERTY keyboard. There is a good amount of space between each key and the buttons are individually raised and curved. The letters and numbers on each key are very easy to read because of the vibrant color and ink they were printed in.

The phone obviously offers 3G service. This is a great addition because there hasnt been a suitable 3G phone available from Sprint. Websites, videos, songs, etc will load with great speed. This phone is a great upgrade from either the Sidekick LX 2009 or the G1. The Dash 3G also allows users to link up their email and instant messaging accounts, allowing them to instant receive email and message alerts. Another addition to the Dash is the expansive GPS services. Using TeleNav Navigation you are able to receive real time voice guided directions to your destination.

The Dash 3G houses a 2 megapixel camera. When compared to the 1.3-megapixel camera found on the first Dash this new camera is a great improvement. The camera takes very nice looking photos, and offers up a nice variety of image capture options. The Dash 3G can also record video. The video quality is decent but can be quite grainy at times.

Anyone who owns the Dash should seriously consider upgrading to the Dash 3G. It is a great phone with many amazing features. Unfortunately the screen is rather small but the phone more than makes up for it with its expansive capabilities.
